Prospects

I'd like to take the time to talk about two of the Pens prospects this off-season.
Eric Tangradi

Eric was part of the package deal with Kris Kunitz when the Penguins traded Ryan Whitney to Anaheim in February of this year. Despite a hand injury to a tendon below his left thumb, this guy looks promising. He had 38 goals in 55 regular season games with Belleville in the OHL this past year.

At 6'4" and 221 lbs, this 20-year-old forward is the 2nd leading scoring in the OHL, only behind Tavares. Do I need to remind you who went #1 overall in the draft this year? Yeah, didn't think so. To be only 2nd to John Tavares is quite impressive.

It also doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes and is all around adorable.

Dustin Jeffrey
This guy had 38 goals and 59 assists in 56 games with Sault Ste. Marie in, I believe, the 2007-2008 OHL season.

Dustin is 21-years-old and is a forward (center). He also played in the AHL for the Baby Pens in Wilkes-Barre when Dan Bylsma was still the coach. Maybe he has a decent shot of making the NHL because Danny Bylsma has already been able to see what he is made of and how he can be an asset to the Penguins.

Check out both these guys in this cute video of the prospects bonding over paintball.
